Every facet of a wedding has importance…the flowers, pictures, video, food, dress, venue, entertainment…the list goes on and on. Before dividing your budget into all of these categories first ask yourself “What is my goal?”
- “To have the best food ever since we are such foodies!”
- “To have the most amazing flowers since my family are botanists!”
- “To have the most fun me or my guests have ever had at a wedding!”
- “To have award quality pictures and/or video!”
Once you have a list of what is most important to you, then you can allocate the budget accordingly getting you closer to the results you really want.
**Sidenote** This survey was done back in 2002, but I wonder if these numbers have really changed since then. If anyone out there has any updated numbers, please send them my way!
